Join Us. One Voice.
We are a coalition of Behavioral Healthcare Providers located throughout the United States working daily to improve the lives of the mentally ill. Our coalition began in 2006 with the express purpose of fighting what would have been devastating cuts to the Partial Hospitalization Programs.

These cuts would have resulted in the closure of hundreds of facilities and the loss of access of care for thousands of  mentally ill citizens.  Through our efforts, these cuts were reduced!

Through this process, we recognized the need for an even more vocal presence in Washington DC. Our organization is composed of CMHC's located within the communities of the populations they serve - in hospital based Partial Hospital Programs and Intensive Outpatient Programs which provide a step down modality of treatment.

Our mission is to to promote Partial Hospital and Outpatient Programs as an essential sector of behavioral healthcare to provide advocacy for these beneficial programs. The National Association for Behavioral Health unites peers of our industry  in a powerful way.  We are able to accomplish goals that go beyond the scope of any single behavioral health provider and stand together with one strong voice.  We are focused on legislation and events that impact your business directly.  We make decisions as a group and advocate for implementation of our ideas.  Working together as a professional membership organization we continue we continue to redefine and improve our industry.

The NABH Policy Defense Fund & Senator Landrieu Fundraiser

It has become readily apparent in recent months that many CMHC's will be forced to close without immediate action taken to address the 40% provision that was passed in healthcare reform and the proposed 42% reimbursement rate cut. The NABH has developed a strategy to address these detrimental provisions but we need your monetary support in order to proceed. As such, the NABH has created a Policy Defense Fund to raise the necessary funds.  We will be hosting a strategy session in New Orleans from 1-5 PM on August 24th to discuss our course of action. We request that providers contribute $5,000 to the Policy Defense Fund to attend the session.

The NABH will be hosting a fundraiser with Senator Mary Landrieu directly following the event. Please contribute to the Fund and attend the strategy session on August 24th. We cannot proceed without your support. To register for the strategy session or to contribute to the Policy Defense Fund, please fill out the form below and submit it back to us.
