NABH is very proud of the advocacy work our organization has done on behalf of the millions of chronically mentally ill over the past several years. We worked hard to have the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) create Conditions of Participation for Community Mental Health Center's (CMHC's), and are saddened by the recent delay in implementing those regulations.  Based on feedback from members and the industry in general, the 2012 reimbursement rates for CMHC's have put most organizations into a situation where they are choosing to cease operations due to inability to financially continue their much needed services.  Those organizations are all working diligently to find adequate coverage for their patients in the new year.  We wish them the best of luck.  Thus, after much thought and consideration, as of January 1, 2012, the NABH will cease its operations.
